WE ARE ALL GAY? wait what?
I open my blog e-mail to find this question. The person who wrote wishes to remain anonymous but will follow the topic and comment on it from his point of view as a “Gay Christian”, didn’t know what my response would be and i Didn’t just want to say, "CUZ THE BIBLE SAID IT'S A SIN" I want to give a real response...and if you ought to use bible references please do with LOVE… we don’t want to offend anyone who may be sensitive to this issue, we always welcome everyone to respond with much respect…
What would your response be? "So let me get this straight (no point intended)...Kelsey Grammer can end a 15 yearr marriage by phone, Larry King is on divorce #9, Britney Spears had a 55 hour marriage, Jesse James and Tiger Woods, while married, were having sex with EVERYONE, 53% of Americans get divorced and 30-60% cheat on their spouses. Yet, same-sex marriage is going to destroy the institution of marriage? Really?"
While I don’t approve of the lifestyle choice, I will NEVER go to a court house, or protest against it, if I was to do that, it means that I will be taking your God giving right away from you. The very same reason why all men was created, so we may all make our own choices on what we wanted to do in life and who am I to stand in the way of that choice. However; because I do represent thee Jesus Christ I will say the following, and please take it lightly, for I am saying this not to offend you, but to give you HOPE through the Teachings of Jesus Christ.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
^^Explanation. While many will call this passage the reason why Gay is a sin, I will call this passage the answer on why we are all sinners” this passage didn’t only highlight the wrong doings of homosexuality, it went forth to explains many other sins that are not permissible in the eyes of God, just like every other sin.
(James 2:10-11)
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
So my final answer is, live your life as you please, but also understand God will be the judge of all your wrong doings, for you have the freedom to choose now, I have giving you the word and the interpretation of it in its truthful matter, while being gay is a sin so is been a liar, or a person who judges his brother for the wrong they do…
(John 8:7)
When therefore they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said to them: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
(Romans 2:1)
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things
Ill close with this, my response does not encourage the lifestyle and it should not be used to continue to live your life in such ways, for as Christians we are all call to become more like Christ each day of our lives, to give him the Glory, to bring our daily struggles before Him. Your daily prayer should be in the lines of God, please remove this earthly desires from my heart, wash me white as snow, clean me oh God, Help me kill my flesh so I may seek your will for my life.
